Since the birth of the modern church in the first century, believers have come together on a regular basis to worship God. Over time, this gathering of believers became commonly known as a worship service. The term worship service has given many people the mistaken impression that by attending a worship service they have fulfilled their service to God. At the Sanctuary, we believe that our service to God occurs every day, as we live our lives as a bold witness and serve others for Him. So, at The Sanctuary, we have chosen to use the term gathering to describe the times when we come together to worship God. When are your gatherings? The Sanctuary has one Sunday morning Fusion Gathering beginning at 10:00 am. Make sure you arrive at 9:00 am for a free cup of coffee. 9:00 AM - Community Connections: Come and enjoy a cup of coffee at our coffee shop "Common Grounds" and getting to know one another! 10:00 AM - Fusion Service: Come and join us in our Fusion Worship Service as we experience God's love through a dynamic worhisp service and teaching that challenges us to grow in our knowledge of Him. How do I get to The Sanctuary? From Altamonte Springs/Orlando: Take I-4 East towards Daytona Beach and get off at exit 116 and head west. Turn right on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and go 1 mile and take a left on East Taylor Road. Take East Taylor Road for 2 miles and The Sanctuary is on your right. The Sanctuary offers various opportunities for your child to get involved. Our Nursery is where children from birth through pre-kindergarden are cared for. The nursery provides an atmosphere that feels safe and inviting to every child. Upon check-in, you will receive an electronic pager which is used to notify you if you are needed by the nursery staff. W.A.V.E. is for children in elementary school. Our vision is to plant seeds of God's love to have a personal relationship with God. MATTHEW 19:14 says...Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Our goal is to teach your child how much Jesus loves and cares for them while having lot's of fun doing it. What procedures do you have in place to ensure the safety of my child? All of the classrooms and meeting areas are staffed with hired staff and volunteers who have committed their lives to Christ and model the core values of The Sanctuary. Each staff member and volunteer in the children’s areas has undergone a thorough screening process and background check. Your child’s safety is very important to us. Each child is assigned an identification number and if we need you during the Worship gathering, a leader will come and get you. When picking up your child, you will need to present your identification card in order for us to release your child to you. What kind of programs do you have for Middle School and High School students? The Sanctuary offers an excellent opportunity for your teenagers to experience the love of God. Ignite Student Ministries meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. What about college students? There is a prevalent culture in America and around the world that is desperately seeking acceptance, guidance, love and vision. Rech is a ministry for ages 18-29 that meets on Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. Come join a culture of young adults as they strive to attain a personal revelation of Christ, self and community; as they reach up and reach out. |
